Colon
Cleansing - Conclusions
Colon
cleansing in Spa
Samui is to be recommended - as long as you are fairly well.
I would also recommend at least some pre-cleansing before
you go.
Ideally, get Anderson's books and follow his
complete colon cleansing for a month before going. I will
be trying out the colon
cleansing again, using Anderson's full cleanse, to see if I
excrete the mucoid plaque he talks about. Anderson says that
nearly all his patients excrete this from both the small and
large intestines.
At the least, cut out meat and dairy, tea and coffee, and
increase fruit and vegetables - especially raw - for one to
four weeks before starting the colon cleansing. I also carried out
a three day juice fast (consuming only juices and water) the
weekend before leaving for Thailand. My partner and I suffered
no side-effects bar a little tiredness and desire for extra
sleep. (Others plunged into the colon cleansing with
little or no preparation and some did experience headaches,
nausea and dizziness.)
If you are ill, I would be a little more cautious before
heading off to Thailand for colon cleansing. The owners of Spa
Samui make it clear they are not medically trained and there is
no formal medical help at the resort. There is, though, an
alternative health centre a few miles away.
If you are concerned
about a lack of medical support, I recommend that you follow
Anderson's colon cleansing
methods at home and see how you get on. You can do this more
than once. If everything is fine, then you can consider making
the trip to Koh Samui as part of a subsequent cleanse.
For most people, I would strongly recommend a
month-long colon
cleansing - 3
weeks at home and one week at Spa Samui - every year or
two to help you to keep healthy.
