Cayenne Pepper - continued; dosage
Dosage - Start off with a capsule with each main meal.
You can increase to 5 or 6 capsules a day; but like most people you
may need to take it in the middle of a meal to avoid a burning
sensation in the stomach.
Cayenne can beneficially be
poured onto open wounds - it stops bleeding and helps bring white
blood cells to the area. So there should be no need to worry about
aggravating stomach ulcers, if you have them. (In fact, if I had a
digestive ulcer it's one of the first things I'd take to help.)
Can you sprinkle Cayenne on food? Certainly -
but you'd have to put a fair bit on the food to equate to one or
two capsules worth. But by all means use it in place of black or
white pepper. These assist circulation too - but Cayenne is stronger.
C. GINGER. This has a boosting effect on the
circulation, and seems to have a particular affinity with the
abdominal area. It can easily be taken as a tea.
To make it, take a few slices of fresh ginger root, and simmer
gently in a mugful of water for 5 minutes. As it is good for the
abdomen, you can sip it throughout the day if you have abdominal
cramping, period pain and indigestion.
Many people find ginger tea a refreshing drink for during the day.
And if drinking it means you drink less tea and coffee - so
much the better!
3. BREATHING Most of us use the Lungs at a small fraction
of their full efficiency. If we carry out deep breathing to use the
Lungs more fully, this will get more oxygen into the blood, remove
waste products from the blood - especially carbon dioxide - more
quickly; and generally help to speed up the circulation of the
blood.
To see how little of the Lungs you really use, there is a free
test you can take at the website of Mike White the 'Breathing
Coach'. This is at: www.breathing.com?ahz
Do you want to improve your breathing? There are some exercises
here; www.specialist-herbal.com/html/3__healing_exercises.html
and do the 'Lung Exercise' or the 'Abdominal Breathing'
exercise.
